Celebrity magazines that feature Obama on the cover sell as many copies as Britney Spears covers. And apparently the trend is similar for more highbrow publications.

A week ago the minority federal government of Canada, and Industry Minister Jim Prentice, tabled an amendment to the Copyright Act. Entitled Bill C-61, its purpose is to bring Canadian copyright law into compliance with the current WIPO treaty (this despite their being no international legal obligation to implement WIPO - it hasn’t been ratified by Canada). Lara Logan, the chief foreign correspondent of CBS News has reported about the Afghan warlord Gulbeddin Hekmatyar who falls under the category of the most notorious terrorists of the remote mountain- area of north- eastern Afghanistan. The warlord is said to have attacked the U.S. troops and to have evaded capture for approximately seven years.
