Launching a new website is so amazingly hard that most people have sleepless nights for weeks before and still end up making a mess of it. Hopefully some of thet resources and articles below will help. The key is that you have to drive a huge amount of traffic and you can’t do it via search or any other method - it has to come from getting links from popular news sites, blogs or perhaps social sites (although these users are less loyal).
